Poor people are not my enemy. People of colour are not my enemy. White people are not my enemy. Trans people are not my enemy. Cis people are not my enemy. Foreign people are not my enemy.
You know who is?
Rich people. I'm not talking about the well-off. Not about the millionaires. I'm talking about the billionaire robber baron parasite class. THOSE rich. The obscene rich. The ones who, by their actions, inactions, political chicanery and bribery; by their repeated choice to mercilessly exploit humanity and this planet's resources for their own frivolous splurging have declared me, you, all of us their enemy. To chose another superyacht instead of paying living wages; choosing another private space ride over providing clean drinking water or ending world hunger; choosing another 'investment' in known harmful fields of industry. Like the joke goes: all of these billionaires could have chosen to become Batman and all of them decided they would not. What else can we call selfish actions causing untold and preventable misery for millions but violence towards all of us who are not as equally obscene rich? What else should it be interpreted but an act of war; one of the rich against the poor?
The obscenely rich are my enemy. And if you think they're not your enemy you should think again because they already decided you are theirs.
