I love Hostess Snack Cakesâ mascots, I wish all of them were kept. Glad Twinkie The Kid is still around, but itâs unfair that the others are gone.
This isnât even ALL of the Hostess mascots [although Iâm glad that the racist Big Wheels mascot is gone though]. @wordwizards @rosie-love98 @alcovegod @partycoffin @avengerchuck
As Crowe packed up to head to Yama's with her fellow Glaives, she'd open her locker to find a simple chocolate cupcake with white frosting waiting for her. There was no card, nor any sign of who had left it for her-- but considering only one person had the master-key to all their lockers, it wasn't hard to figure out where it had come from.
Casual jacket, non-uniform boots, small bag, her phone, afew photos stuck to the inside of the door ⌠a cupcake?  One of those thingswas not like the others â one of those things did not belong.  Culprit?  Hadnât she watched Sonitus pull an electroniclock apart only to meticulously piece it back together?  If he was capable of lock-picking on that scale, she had no doubt that asimple locker would fall well withinthe bounds of his skill-set.  Had it beenSoni, though, she might have expected to spot him lingering nearby but otherthan her uniform coat slung over the bench behind her, there was no sign of hersquad-mates. Â
Not Soni, then.  Someoneelse.  One able to break in to her lockerand leave the treat there without anybody noticing or alerting her.  Except it wasnât a break-in, was it?  No signs of tampering, the lock wasnât broken.  No, the locker had been opened and those ableto open it without resorting to lock-picking numbered only two; herself and⌠wait.
The captain. Â That explained it â explained the lackof a note, why no card had been left, the complete lack of a hint, made all thepieces of the puzzle fit together. Â
Turning, she lifted her jacket from the bench and shruggedback into it, left hand strayed back to her locker to lift the cupcake whileher free hand threw the locker door shut. Heavy footsteps would carry her toward his office door only for her topause before knocking â one of his glaives walking in, cupcake in hand, wouldnâtplay well if anybody noticed. Â A noteinstead, then. Â Itâd have to do. Â
Off toward the admin block, she swiped a sheet of paper anda pen from the closest desk and set to writing a quick note, pausing only to swipesome of the frosting onto her finger â quick taste wouldnât hurt.  Sweet but not sickly, lightly flavoured.  Note scrawled across the page, she folded itin half, returned the pen, swiped a thumb-tack and made back toward the captainâsoffice.  The note would find itself ahome pinned to his door, two raps of her knuckles against the wood as sheturned to leave his only alertâŚ
âSir,
You wouldnât believewhat I just found in my locker ⌠NO IDEA how it got there.  Thinking someone broke in.  No complaints, though.  Frosting tastes GREAT.  Wouldnât mind knowing where it came fromâŚ
Thank you.
