I saved my favorites for the end. The night sky is spectacular here. Darkest I’ve ever seen. Chimney Rock is silhouetted here. #CapitolReef #ChimneyRock #nightsky (at Capitol Reef National Park)

Van Boondocking on BLM at Capitol Reef National Park
A mile or so East of the entrance to Capital Reef National Park in Utah I found a great camping spot on BLM land off of Notom-Bullfrog Road while heading south and right past a bridge. The nearby creek was fun to explore before I got a good fire going and watched the sun go down in the distance. Excellent stay here, and I would highly recommend this quiet camp instead of the paid options in the park (they didn’t even have showers).Â
