my belated opinion about age of ultron: i really like it. like, i agree the characterization wasn’t necessarily the best (and the boob faceplant was literally so fucking awful?????), but i don’t think it’s SO far from right that im gonna completely erase it from my memory and pretend it didnt happen
like, it IS pretty funny, and it was really exciting and all, and of course the acting was lovely (mark ruffalo continues to impress me with his ability to make small little gestures or facial expressions or little changes to his tone and change the whole atmosphere of the scene). tbh though i think the reasons i still count age of ultron as one of my fave parts of the mcu so far is just because A) it’s where we fiiinally get to see semi-domestic life of the avengers and see them as actual friends, and learn more about the personalities of some of the characters (like honestly barton was as bland as a board until this movie) and B) because i’ve only watched it 2.5 times by now as opposed to like all the other movies which i’ve watched at least 3 or 4 times and am getting kind of tired of
