Okay but Harvey is being so sweet when Sabrina asks him why he stopped by at breakfast and he responds:
“It’s partly because I don’t know your aunts.”
then Sabrina says, “that’s entirely intentional,” as of to say she doesn’t want Harvey to know her family, and I’ve never thought of it this way before, because we don’t find out that Harvey’s dad is an abusive alcoholic yet (right?), so we don’t see Harvey’s actions from that lense, but can you guys imagine being Harvey, living in the home that he does, and then dropping by the mortuary, where... sure, Zelda is pretty terrifying, but you can tell she’s just protective of Sabrina, and Hilda is a LITERAL BALL OF DOMESTIC SUNSHINE, and Ambrose is complimenting his sketch book over coffee...
from Harvey’s perspective, it must be really hard to have Sabrina acting like her family is the worst, because she definitely doesn’t understand how lucky she is. Sure, the fact that her mother and father died in a plane crash is tragic, but her homelife is 1000% better than Harvey’s.
I know it’s a teenager thing to hate and be embarrassed by your family... but when your boyfriend comes from such a broken home, you’d think you wouldn’t be so quick to shit on your own.
