P1 E9 - when Sabrina and Zelda have their argument about resurrecting Tommy. Firstly this scene absolutely kills me. Zelda is barely keeping it together, her mix of anger and rage at Sabrina’s actions along with the sheer desperation as the matriarch trying to keep her family afloat. It was only a few eps ago that Zelda was crying about her losing her way and feeling like she was running a ‘halfway house for wayward witches’. So Sabrina’s teenage I’m-gonna-do-what-I-think-is-right actions were more than enough to push Zelds over the edge.
After Hilda interrupts, scorns Sabrina for talking that way to her Aunt Zelda, Zelds goes into her speech about ‘everything has a price’. (Gives me ouat/rumplestiltskin vibes). Zelda says “Edward learnt it, I learnt it, now it’s Sabrina’s turn.” And now I’m all up in my feels about whatever happened to young Zelda, what she might have done, what might have happened for her to have learnt that lesson. I know Zelds detests the teen angst, but you just know she was a headstrong young witch back in the day, just like her niece. I need an angsty fic of young Zelds getting her heart shattered as she learns that everything has a price. Please and thank you. Lol.
