"Ughh work was hell today," Cross sighedas he walked to his front door, looking forward to a nice long shower, junkfood, and ending the night by falling asleep in his chair. Allen and Lavi wereold enough to fend for themselves, for the most part, so he knew (or expected)them to leave him alone. So yeah, Cross was looking forward to a peaceful nightat home. However, the moment he opened the door and a ball flew out,dangerously close to his head, mind you, he came to the realization that that wasnot going to happen.

As Cross stood in the doorway, his eyesnarrowed at the white-haired brat standing before him, looking sheepish amongsta bunch of screaming kids.

"What the fuck!?" was the first thing that flew out of Cross'smouth.

Several kids laughed or gasped in reaction to Crossswearing. Cross ignored them. I mean it's not as if it's their first-timehearing something like that. Cross was sure that if they knew what that word meant;they more than likely have heard of it before.

"Uhmm…could you maybe not use those words…I mean there arechildren present-"

"It's my damn household I can use whatever fucking languageI want. Besides, I swore plenty of times when you were a tiny squirt, and youcame out…halfway decent at least," Cross stated, his eye beginning to twitch inannoyance.

"You sounded a little hesitant there," Allen huffed.

"Look, that's not the bloody point. Only two brats areallowed to live under this roof, why do I see more than two? Did you get abunch of girls pregnant that I don't know about? Or did I get several girlspregnant that I didn't know about…?" Cross asked, his eyes going wide after hislast statement. Shit, please tell me these brats are not mine!

"No! Besides, I'm gay! Remember? Did the whole' heart toheart' coming out moment years ago mean nothing to you!?" Allen snapped beforesighing, "I'm babysitting."

"Cool," Cross responded, inwardly relieved that these were, in fact, not his kids/grandchildren, and therefore he was not responsible forthem, "Now why the fuck are they in MY house though? You know this place ain'tchildproofed."

Cross looked pointedly at the child running around with theletter opener. Allen grabbed said child and took the letter opener from hishand before scolding, "Hey, we don't touch things that don't belong to us,remember? Your mom made sure to send a bunch of your toys with you, so go playwith those instead, please, thank you."

Then Allen looked back up at Cross, "Well, several momswanted me to watch their kids today since it's summer break. However, I can'tclone myself, so I thought, why not bring all the kids here?"

"In my house."

"Yeah."

"That isn't childproof."

"I mean, it's childproof enough; I didn't die…"

"There were plenty of times you nearly died in this house."

"That was only one time."

"Nine times and counting!" Cross fired back.

"Who's counting?" Allen shrugged.

"Me! You accident-prone brat!"

"Okay, so you. Big whoop. It's too late to do anything aboutit anyways. Besides, you should be thanking me, imagine how many hot, single momsare out there partying and having fun right now. Free from kids. You should bethanking me. Every single bachelor in this area should be thanking me, actually,"Allen said with an eye roll. A little girl who was running around, fell flat onher face and began to cry. Allen picked her up and began to rock her, ignoringthe seething glare Cross was sending his way.

"Alright then, I want half of your earnings," Cross stated,crossing his arms across his chest.

"What?" Allen balked.

"You heard me. I want half."

"But I'm already paying Lavi to do the cooking!"

"So? You're using my house as your personal daycare! I payall the bills under this household and the food. Not only that, but when I comehome from work, I expect to relax. I don't expect to have a bunch of screamingkids running around my house-"

"You came at a bad time. It's nearly dinner time."

"Not the point. Not only that, but you didn't ask me beforehandif you could use this place as a daycare. Consider half of your paycheck beingused to cover food costs and possible potential damages to both children and myhouse, among other things," Cross said, not budging a bit.

"…So having a bunch of potentially hot single moms isn'tgonna be enough for you?"

"Not when it comes to my domain possibly going up in flamesbecause of your dumb ass idea, no."

Allen heaved a huge sigh, "Fine. But you better cut it outwith the swearing! If the kids start picking that up from you, then we're goingto lose out on business! So, stop it, you heathen!"

"I make no promises," Cross huffed as he made his way to thebathroom, "I'm going to take a shower, better tell your horde of brats to leaveme alone tonight!"

"I make no promises," Allen trilled back as he led all thekids into the dining room for dinner.
