Stopped cause I thought it was passionfruit. Bought cause I saw it was corn. Excited to try these terrible chewy candies.
(Note: A British follower asked me a while back if Japanese always romanizes it as “corn,” never “sweetcorn.” This might be the first example of スイートコーン // suiito-kōn I’ve seen—definitely one of the first. So, while I can't be sure, I’m inclined to believe that it’s being used to mean “corn that is sweet,” rather than a compound noun. In any case, the package says "Contains kernels of corn." Which should be fun.)
