I found a single stem of Plantain weed on a walk today, and the canaries all went mad for it! Can't wait for more of it to grow as it's their favourite snack. Towards the end of the Summer it is everywhere, so I always pick tonnes of it and leave it to dry so that they can enjoy it for longer 🌱 oh and the wind made them jump ! 💨 #canarykeeper #aviarybirds #canaries #pollyfern

Olive has been so gentle and loving with the chicks today! She no longer needs to incubate them, but has been sitting beside them lots, gently pecking the bits of feather husks off them. The chicks are growning so fast! My favourite part is when they are just about to fly down from the nest, a little while in till then though... #olivethecanary #canarykeeper #pollyfern
