Tuesday, September 24th was certainly a day for volunteers at the farm! We had members of the Eco Reps program, a group of four friends, and three of the new Presidential Ambassadors come out to help weed and harvest.
The crops of the day were potatoes, beets, and yellow pear tomatoes. It was noted early on in our day that the beets had the resemblance of Mandrakes from Harry Potter. Bonus finds were caterpillars, worms, and beautiful weather.

The DePauw women's basketball team--NCAA champions--biked out to the campus farm to help harvest. It was great to have an entire athletic team out there working together.
