So for longer walks I like to take my mini wood burning stove to knock up a hot drink or heat some beans, especially in cooler weather. Here’s how we make hot chocolate on the go! How to: Firstly, get your kit together - mine is a little @tomshoo_official burner in which I pop a few bits of kindling or some twigs, along with natural tinder or some natural firelighters. You also need your saucepan or kettle - my stove fits into my pan so it packs super small - and your milk, choc buttons/choc powder, a mug, spoon and fire-lighter of choice such as matches or a fire steel. Next - light the stove! Then pop your milk into the pan and heat. Finally pop in your choc drops, melt, stir & pour to drink! More: I love this mini stove as I can use totally natural materials (as long as they are dry) to feed it even when out & about. It’s also so fast you can set up, heat, drink & pack up within 30 mins. It also catches any embers safely so they don’t land on the grass - it’s so important to keep flames & embers off the ground surface especially in hot weather to avoid any risk of fire.⠀ #tomshoo #bushcraft #camping #campingstove #campingkit #bushcraft #campcooking #hotchocolate #cooking #walking #hiking #outdooradventures #forestschool #outdoorlearning https://www.instagram.com/p/CHuq2TsBxui/?igshid=192xjbpb3zyb0
