PW Audio是知名香港本地品牌，品牌創立於2010年，由香港人 Peter Wong 親自負責研發和製作。品牌著重產品造功及聲音質素，深受用家愛戴。產品線亦豐富多變，由數百元入門級的Copper28以至萬元旗艦級的1950s。今年香港高級視聽展，PW Audio將會推出會場限量特別版耳機線『Limited』，WEM Media有幸為大家搶先試聽及介紹。

This will be a Campfire Audio Cascade review along with some comparisons to the Campfire Andromeda.

Well, I wanted bass cannons and I got them:  This is definitely the bassiest set of headphones I’ve ever heard of, but really good meaty quality bass that kicks, while still giving you clarity into what else is going into the song.  The Cascades are not a cheap headphone, in fact they cost 800 dollars.  In the headphone world, you can get stuck buying cheap headphones for years, and you really have to start throwing over $500 to start getting what you want lol.

The Cascades have a way of presenting both bass and mids at the expense of highs.  This is different than regular V shaped headphones, which would emphasize bass and highs and scoop the mids out, neutral headphones which usually flatten the bass (which, to most people, is going to sound bass light), or mid-centric headphones which usually scoop the low end and the high end out.  For the purpose of defining terms, low end = bass, mid-range usually encompasses vocals and especially the female voice, while higher frequencies encompass what is known as treble, turn treble up and headphones sound harsher and more fatiguing to listen to, s’s become more pronounced, and any higher pitch noise can be painful.

Anywho, Cascades roll off a bit of the treble for smoother highs, they present mids in an enjoyable fashion, and they just give you way more bass than you can ever ask for but they keep it separate from the mids.  I like this presentation.  I don’t know if I love it yet, but I feel like I have the right tool for rap, electronic and R&B now.  

Some comparisons I can immediately make with my Campfire Andromedas:  The Andromedas are a tad more detailed than the Cascades, with much less bass.  I wouldn’t call the Cascades LACKING in detail, they certainly present everything in the track. On a busy song, the Cascades keep up with all the parts of the song like they should, which is nice.  And I wouldn’t call the Andromedas bass shy, but they’re not going to exaggerate the level of bass on the track.  When the Cascade bass hits, it’s super thick.  It doesn’t slam, but it certainly thumps.   The Andromedas place the mids a little higher and pushes the bass to the backseat.  The highs in both headphones are both smooth.  I can’t stress this enough:  When you hear overly hot treble, it can feel piercing to your ears, and it’s not pleasant.

I fast switched from the Andromedas to the Cascades on M.I.A.’s Bamboo Banga and the difference was immediately clear, even at low volume, that the bass on the Cascades was much more present. 

The bass on Playboi Carti’s “Poke It Out” was presented in a way I hadn’t heard before - it seemed to have actual different bass notes that I couldn’t hear before.

外殼由鋁金屬製造以PVD鍍上Gun Metal深鎗色，形狀做到類似地圖上的地形輪廓線立體化一樣。面蓋以PVD鍍金。導管用上Campfire Audio 中 Atlas系列的鋼製導管。MMCX可換線的插座。

線材：

由ALO Audio製造全新的Super Litz線材。其線比以往的Campfire Audio 耳機的跟機線更粗，線材更多。

其他： 便攜拉鏈盒，及Final E-Type耳塞，Marshmallow耳棉和矽膠耳膠

10mm ADLC類金鋼石單元加Polarity Tuned Chamber

T.A.E.C. 3D 打印共嗚箱無導管技術之雙高音單元

中音單元則承繼自 Comet (單元經過開孔處理)

聽感： 

小編用Lotoo PAW Gold TOUCH (墨菊) 作測試。 

高音～有著非常之Campfire Audio Andromeda的影子，分析力極高和激進的取向，擴展度非常之高，良好的空氣感。 

中頻∼有著乾淨和亮麗的透明度，人聲定位相對地較後，但又有其細緻度。

低頻∼有別於一貫作風，低音有著澎湃的衝擊力，下潛力非常充足，回彈非常有力，圈味十足！

總結： 

Solaris 給了小編一個非常大的驚喜是他的低頻量度。不單止這樣，他更是集合了差不多全部Campfire Audio型號耳機優點於一身，無論耳機的設計及用料，耳機盒的用料，線材的升級，耳棉耳膠的齊全度。。。。全都是逹到了旗艦的級別！ 小編有一個小小的心得，因為耳機的設計偏大，耳型較小的可用耳棉作配戴之用。第一是可舒適地配戴，雖有一部分耳機會突出來，但是會很穩固的固定在耳內，第二是會較為修潤了高音的刺激部份，作為微微的調音作用。
