Original caption: “Repeal shoes” are the latest fad among women who are interested in the repeal of the 18th Amendment. A preview of the showing of repeal footwear took place February 6, 1933 at the Cammeyer Salon on Fifth Avenue. The new shoes were designed by Cammeyer for the members of the Women's Organization for National Prohibition Repeal. They will be made to order and ten percent of the sales will go to the organization. The repealists are shown above, as they tried on the "Repeal shoes,” are, left to right: Mrs. Miriam Ryan Hebert; Mrs. Arthur Crunden; Mrs. Daniel Freeman; Mrs. Arthur McGeogh; Mrs. W. Palmer Dixon. Seated in front is Mrs. Charles Stradella.
