Day 4 and we were up and out again early. Lucky for us it will not be quite as hot but started off humid as a fair bit of cloud came over last night. Today we walked mainly on one country dirt road before crossing the main road of Julimar then onto another dirt road. Another bush camp for us but tonight we had a trail angel pop by (Heather,s hubby Dave) with some pre-dinner treats of cheese, crackers, sausage, dip and Beer! Thank you Dave such a wonderful thing to have and a real pick up after some very hot tiring days. Day 3 and we set out early again before sunrise. Conflicting weather reports on the temp so we just agreed it will be hot. The first part of the day was great as we were still in Walyunga NP which is such a stunning park to explore. Like I said early, the sun hadn’t risen and the timing was great for it to as we had a very long hill climb. To watch those first rays just pop up over the hills in the east was magic. Lots of kangaroos waking up and hopping by, the birds doing their usual song and dance while getting their morning feed. Just perfect. Now we have jumped on over to the Avon NP where we are bush camping. On arrival we were greeted by 4 peacocks that were very curious on what and who we were. Loads of fun today but again hot hot hot. Day 2 on the pilgrims Trail. Hot hot hot. So hot but we still had fun. Glad to now be away from the busy roads and into the National Park. Long day with many breaks for cooling down.
