I wonder what would've happened with Purple and Red if Cyan had lived further (maybe even till the end). I can just imagine Purple and Cyan bonding over time while Red just watches them kind of jealously asking themself how the hell did Cyan do it in such a small amount of time lmao
Goood, Anon, I cannot shut up about Cyan and Purple's friendship?? Purple is so SWEET to them. I just want Red being a big baby bcos Purple's snippy and aggressive with them but is touchy and huggy with Cyan. Esp since Purple is absolutely touch-starved, so Cyan would be one of their safe people. Purple already knows what happens when they get too close to Red; they get hurt. They get betrayed. They get abandoned. So it's hard to risk vulnerability with Red, but it's easy with Cyan.
Cyan would casually hold hands with Purple EVERYWHERE. Purple is really protective of Cyan. They're patient with Cyan's interest in spirituality and the occult, while Cyan is attentive when Purple talks about history and mythology. They probably do little book exchanges, which Blue eventually gets into by sharing their volumes of elegiac poetry. Cyan teaches Purple how to do tarot. Purple doesn't get it, bcos every card has wildly contradicting interpretations, but it makes Cyan happy that Purple tries, so Purple keeps doing it.
I just enjoy the GRIEF Red must feel, at seeing someone else have this version of Purple. It must be hard, to see that loyalty, patience, and understanding being directed at someone else when there was a time it was all for you. The way Purple always, always softens for Cyan drives Red up a wall.
