Past
Being born into a family that was made up from a former gang runner and wannabe cross-dresser and his slave, Calypso you could say wasn't born into the most normal of families. On September 17 he was born to his traumatized mother who only had more stress placed on her when the family quickly learned of Calypso's having seizures not so long after being born. His mother seemed to always be on his case every day since then. Unfortunately, his older siblings, both twins, didn't take to kindly to his sapping up their parents attentions. Or that he was even born at all. This lead to a sibling rivalry that had the tendency to go much farther than that and almost into full blown attempted murders half the time.
As Calypso got older he was kidnapped by a demon and experimented on as a 'present' to his older siblings who had moved from home by this time, sixteen years after his birth. The demon, being the Sin of Envy picked up on the twins jealousy and ate away at it till he was offhandedly given permission by one, or both the siblings offhanded comments about their younger brother. Caly was then tortured and murdered sadistically before being put back together, brought back to life and sent in a box to the twins doorstep. After being found and going to the hospital he seemed to change. For several months he sat in an almost catatonic state.
But sometime before his graduation he disappeared after school and ever since then his parents didn't hear anything of him aside from a few times here and there as he stopped by on his hunting trips.
Present
After leaving home Calypso became a hunter of the supernatural variety just to get by. He at some point hooked up with a witch who he has did not know was a witch at the time. But his apparent tormenting of this woman drove her to suicide which brought her older sister to Calypso's path. She punched him outside on the street's and soon the two were in a small battle where Calypso had almost had the upper hand, but was then suddenly sealed in a stone wall for five days, which he almost died, after he hit the sister, Harper, in the face with a baseball bat.
Sometimes he has episodes where he is not quite himself, and starts talking about being from another world. Whether this is a sudden case of insanity, brought on by the genes of his own parents own insanity, or something else, is up for debate. But a lot of strange things seem to happen when he slips into this state of mind and it would perhaps do anyone around at the time to get away from him.
