Hey kid, what’s the big idea? This place is supposed to be a quiet realm, you hear me? Oh who am I kidding—as long as you don’t lose your temper over these imps (heheh, you probably will won’t you?) you can do whatever ya want now that you’re dead. Alright listen up shorty I’m placing you to live with Melody Moon in Sleuthhound Quarters 7. The lady could be your big sister or something. You are in elementary school, right? …No? Whoopsie daisy, never mind me then~

There always seemed to be one surprise after another - without any end to them. This time was no exception. Hunger had unexpectedly crept up on the male, and he found himself browsing one of the many market stalls around Sh'tori. Picking up a box of what he assumed to be cereal of some sort, he took one look at it and placed it back down almost immediately after.

Even in spite of his wounds, Alexander refused to let his prey go. Yes, the pain was nearly unbearable, but he kept chasing out of sheer spite: He had been following this girl for almost twenty minutes now, having caught her many times, but never being able to completely immobilize her before she escaped. It was during one of those struggles that she managed to slash at his upper thigh with a shard of glass, a wound that now bled profusely and made moving extremely difficult, but he was sure that if he could endure the pain for just a little longer, he could manage to finish what he had started.

If nothing else, he was glad the sun had already gone down. Running while wounded, sweaty and sticky sounded even worse than his current situation.

Eh? Another dead person? Great. Hey, lady. Nice hair~ Ah wait a minute, what’s up with that scar? Heheh, think I didn’t notice did you? I know what this is all about, but don’t worry… Your unfortunate death brings about a new start in this world. So why don’t you march right into Sleuthhound Quarter 7? Your new mate Fenris awaits your arrival— or not, but I do need to say something nice every once in a while, you know?
