Tbh, Alec probably wouldn’t even notice. He’d just think she was being her usual self, or that she was trying to annoy him on purpose. It would probably be Izzy that noticed, and only after a lot of convincing will Alec actually believe her.

“Ow!” Evie groaned, bringing her hand up to gingerly touch her forehead, when she pulled it away it was stained crimson with blood and she rolled her eyes. That’s gonna hurt in the morning. She thought to herself.
“That’s what you get for being distracted.” Alec chastised from the opposite side of the alley way, he had his bow ready, one eye squinted as he took aim at the demon they had been battling for the past fifteen minutes. A particularly nasty ravener demon that had given a couple of mundanes a pretty nasty fright down on Park and Fifth.
“Are you kidding me?” Evie got to her feet, retrieving her seraph blade and running full force, straight past Alec towards the ravener demon. She didn’t give it chance to react when she pierced it straight through the chest, reducing the demon to nothing but ash on the ground. When she turned to Alec, a trickle of blood ran from her eyebrow down her face and she wiped at it with the back of her hand. “This is the third time someone has tried to kill me today!”
Alec looked puzzled. “You’ve been at the institute all day...”
Evie held up three fingers, dropping one as she counted down. “One, ravener demon. Two, Magnus made me put a skirt on this afternoon...”
Alec smirked. “...and three?”
“Three, Isabelle cooked dinner.”
