If you all could recognize who that hood belonged to, I suppose you can easily tell who this hoodie belongs to!

smriti mandhana, harmanpreet kaur: i'll meet you in my dreams tonight
Il Pleut / Guillaume Apollinaire / 1914
I love it when I do shit like this when the theme for an assignment is vague enough I can leap out the window!
(unfortunately, I then have to suffer the consequences of my own hubris)
Do you feel me?
I'm still here
And I'll never leave
Your side
Not until the lights
Go dim
And all is quiet
And so still
.
One hand upon
Your rising chest
Before
And while
The heaving had
Begun
.
Please don't hate me
Please don't blame me
I understand the fear...
That flash in your eyes
So wide
Between worlds they
Must now certainly
Peer
.
I don't know where
You're going to
But I pray that you
Hear
This whisper spoken
So softly
Just above your ear
.
One shaky breath
With words so quiet
Yet so undeniably
True
.
.
.
"I will always love you..."

Journaling Ideas- Poetry
Here are some poetry types that would be fun to experiment with in your journal, most which incorporate different artistic mediums!
Visual Poetry
Poetry that incorporates visual elements.
Concrete Poetry-
A poem that is written and manipulated to create a visual image that resembles the subject or theme of the work.
Calligrams Poetry-
Similar to concrete poetry, the work is written to resemble the subject or object of the text, but its emphasis is on the elaborate calligraphy of the words or individual letters to create the image.
Haiga-
A form of Japanese visual art where a haiku (a three line nature themed poem) is accompanied by a painted picture.
