        there’s  always  that  sense.  that  sense  that  someone’s  following  him  and  he  never  wants  to  look  behind  to  find  out.  it’s  his  powers  on  the  fritz,  he  knows  that,  but  it  still  makes  his  anxiety  rise.  risen  anxiety  means  that  the  lights  overhead  begin  to  flicker.  ❛  the  power  here  must  suck.  ❜  he  knows  the  truth,  but  it’s  an  easy  deflect.
