I know some people don’t like how Byrne just often comes in and does big character shakeups all the time, but honestly I’m glad we are being given at least some reason for why Namor is always going off his rocker, even if it is something weird like blood oxygen toxicity..

That would make a great fic! Also it's kinda canon that kids are fans of Namor, one kid he saved became such a big fan that later when he had the chance to help Namor he did. Caleb Alexander was a pretty good character and he and his daughter were one of the highlights of the 90s series.
