Wanted to yap a little bit about the AU.

Most importantly I wanted to make a grasp onto Katana‘s backstory,

Katana grew up like in canon in the streets. Having to get by, by either searching in trashcans for food, trying to snatch food away from unattended plates in the outside area of Restaurants, or even needing to try her luck out stealing from the nearby farmers market.

Her "home“ during that time was a simple Cardboard box, with a not so handy crafted roof on top, made out of old Pizza Box Packaging she found in the garbage.

Eventually during one of her loitering sessions a small group of homeless people approached her, they had seen the little girl sneaking around the district often. Despite them asking to take her in with a warm embrace, she was wary about them.

Well, of course, who wouldn’t be wary of a group of strangers while only knowing the instinct of striving survival and the feeling of unwelcomeness? Even with the weird twisted dropping feeling in her guts, she accepted the offer to take her in. (Disclaimer; Katana was around 8-9 years old when she joined the group.)

Years flew by, Katana now slowly approaching her starting teens. During the discourse over the time she got taught quite a handful about useful skills. (Ex. Teaching her basic cooking techniques, simple self-defense in case of emergency, how to get a few coins in her pockets by bringing in newspaper or cans to specific places. etc.) Let alone learning the presence of others may not be as suffocating and depressing as she thought it was.

The way Katana even got a whiff about hitman inc was when she got stopped by a tall lacking shadowy figure which stepped outside a nearby alleyway from her group’s campsite.

Holding out a card with an address the figure slowly bend down to stare Katana directly in the eyes, stating about how she can‘t live this specific life forever, advising her to go to the address if she wants to be seen as a normal being and not some filthy, pitiful, helpless trash by society.

Tumblr put me into the shadow realm, but that‘s okay, I can yap all I want without annoying anyone.

Little ramble to the AU!

Basically the AU first took place during WPNZ and Katana‘s Assassin days, after finding out Katana was pregnant WPNZ actually tried to be there for her.

Even if he isn’t the nicest parent to have he tries his best (Still causing accidents despite that though *cough)

So, the kids grew up in a chaotic environment, parents fighting sometimes, and conflicts flying around the room a ton. Due to their fights and WPNZ‘s cursing, Zack began to pick up WPNZ habit of using swear words, which he uses frequently.

On the other hand, it affected Cory a lot in another way, he get’s scared even anxious once he hears yelling or cursing.

That‘s one of the reasons he still acts more childish sometimes rather than his actual age, he sometimes escapes into his own headspace.
