"Excuse me," Caireann awkwardly but with a politeness that was usually nonexistent, tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention, and waited for him to turn around before continuing. "Uh...hi. I think this might be yours?" she asked, as she held up a brown leather wallet that she'd found, left behind at the table next to her's at the restaurant they'd both just came from. She had hurried to catch up to him, once she'd paid for her own finished meal, hoping to get him before she lost him.
Sheppard felt someone tapping on his shoulder and he turned around to see who it was and he thought he recognized her from the restaurant earlier. At the sight of his wallet, he instinctively patted his back pockets, which were both empty. “I think it is,” he nodded, laughing. “Thank you for catching up with me. I’m really not this forgetful, normally,” he said as he took the wallet, pulling a twenty out of the pocket to give to her. “Let me give you this, because not everybody would have been as honest.”
