Celebrating my mom's birthday at Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Alabang. The weekend combined 2 things I like, family and food. Thanks to Deal Grocer (which is a favorite of mine), we were able to enjoy the sumptuous dinner buffet at Café 8 at a discount (because who doesn't want savings, right?). We were also pleasantly surprised that they have a Vietnamese spread celebrating the diverse flavors of Vietnamese cooking. They had 3 Vietnamese chef's preparing the food that made it really authentic and they seemed very happy when we tried the dishes. We had nothing but good feedback since the food was delicious.

Ever since high school, my best friend and I go on a trip to try different restaurants and then overnight at my place with our stomach filled with so much happiness sharing random stories until we fell asleep.
