i have posted about this in a blog format b4 but im now posting it in an ask format, this time with a transparent image.

Oof. Asking the big questions.
Probably Caesium?
Because it just sits there in oil all like "hey dude, I'm chill, lick me."
But you should not lick the Caesium for it is deceitful and tastes of bang.
Honourable mentions:
Magnesium is fun.
Helium is pretty great but we've wasted so much of it.
Tungsten is obviously up there for all the boring reasons.
The catto du jour has given me another excuse to draw my favorite catto pair. I'd like to provide a few reasons as to why NaK is the best ship on the entire table. Have a very alkaline Christmas everyone.
Na & K looks exactly the same irl. They are both soft greyish metal that oxidizes quickly upon air contact. If you mix em' up it's gonna be hard to tell them apart.
They have very similar chemical properties, to the point they are almost interchangeable in most reactions. Like in all the mnemonic I've memorized in school, they are right next to each other. E.g. electronegativity, reactivity, precipitation.
Na & K smushed together forms an alloy/amalgam called NaK (duh) which is a liquid. It's cool as hell
In biology, cells would pump their ions so that Na+ is more concentrated outside and K+ inside. Being able to selectively let them pass on demand is how your body can do cool stuff like transmitting neural signals, muscle contraction, and regulate heartbeat.
They both have symbols that don't match their English name, which is rare
I mean Potassium literally lives one floor below Sodium on the table. That's a classic setup in all fiction come on
Salted fried banana is goated food
I guess I've always shipped them even before finding this fandom lol. Thank you for coming to my TED talk
(Yes I drew the entire alkali roster just to justify drawing my NaK ship)
after pouring so many blood sweat and tears, we did it!
(I came up with the idea of the battery tail. @gasserite did all of this, big thanks to him!)
Bonus sillies if you care:
(Yes @caesiumxlithium you should totally respond to our dm :eyes::eyes:) [this is just a reference if you can't tell]
