Some of the longer range weapons systems from NATO are finally making it to the front lines in Ukraine’s Donbas region.

The French CAESAR howitzer can fire 155 mm shells at a distance of 38 km/23.6 miles. Though under ideal circumstances that range can be as far as 42 km.

A dozen of these highly mobile howitzers have been sent to Ukraine.

As mentioned a few days ago, British M270 multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) are on the way. Those require more specialized training. Because NATO troops are not operating inside Ukraine, the training of Ukrainian troops in their use must take place in nearby NATO countries.

Ukraine will continue to require weapons to fend off a totalitarian invader with almost four times the population.

In addition to arming Ukraine, we can help by boycotting Western companies which continue to do business with Putin’s Russia.

The Yale School of Management has continued to update its database of companies doing business in Russia since the special operation WAR began. They sort them into five categories ranging from Digging In (companies still blissfully supporting Putin’s genocide) to Withdrawal (companies which made a clean break and stopped doing business there).
