Arranged marriages were ridiculous. They werenât for the benefit of those being married; it was just for the families. Which, as much as Dino loved his, he didnât understand why they were so forceful about this. Sure, he was the eldest, but he had already shown himself to be the problem child when it came to stuff like this. He didnât want any of this. He would be just fine if he left with nothing but the clothes on his back and threw out his name.
But his family didnât listen to him. They forced him to this ridiculous meeting when he clearly had better things to do. He managed to slip out quietly without them noticing, but of course eventually someone had to care.
Dino glanced out the corner of his eye as he saw his - ugh - betrothed walking towards him. He had nothing against Ignis personally, of course. He just had an entire skeleton to pick with the institution of arranged marriages.Â
âYeah,â he answered lowly, forearms resting on his knees. Chances are, Ignis knew about him running away constantly. Which meant only one thing. ââm not going back up there, I hope ya know that.â He finally turned to look at Ignis, eyes narrowing. âAnâ unless you give me a very good reason, âm leavinâ tonight.â
