like in game, soap has a more serious kinda personality compared to the absolute chaos gremlin energy he has in fanon. so like capitalize on that? soap is more stern, serious, with a small bit of spice and energy. he purses his lips and furrows his brows with concentration. he is a soldier through and through. johnny though? doesn't take a damn thing seriously. he is bright and chaotic and funny. he is a dog and horny and feral. he likes to keep the sunshine in his soul safe, so he separates work and home just like simon does. just... differently.

kyle and gaz have the same energy. kyle is the charming, pretty boy that he is. the absolute menace that jokes around with his mates and spoils the hell out of his partners. kyle finds he can enjoy the simple things in life and can be a simple man. he can take things as they come and be laid back. gaz though? he's cutthroat. he will get things done and he will do so with a precision that is absolutely frightening. he has a good heart, but price taught him that to do good, one has to be ready to bloody their hands and gaz took that to heart.

john is a back sleeper and fucking snores as loud as a freight train. definitely has a super stiff bed to support his aching back and sometimes uses a pillow to support his hips/knees. he likes when you lay on his arm as he stretches out or curling into his side with your head tucked into him and your legs tangled around at least one of his. lowkey, he takes the side of the bed closet to the door. no matter where you are sleeping. has specific triggers that wake him up at night. could sleep through a hurricane but he hears a foot step or a siren and he's awake and alert.

kyle is and will always be a side sleeper. if he's not cuddling you, he's cuddling a pillow. has king size pillows to create a little nest. with you, though? enjoys most when you guys are facing each other and his arms are wrapped around him. also totally cool with the reverse. he just wants to cuddle the shit out of you. tucks you into his bare chest and sleeps with his lips touching the crown of your head. when you're wrapped around him, his lips are against your collarbone and hand loosely on your hip. always takes the left side. sorry. also?? medium light sleeper. needs a loudish noise to wake him, but consistently wakes up to that. no snoring but some light incoherent murmuring in his sleep in.

simon isn't a huge cuddler tbh. he sleeps on his side or back interchangeably depending on back pain. softer bed type of guy. he honestly sleeps like the dead, silent and unmoving. you will see him fall asleep one way and wake up to him never moving an inch. extreme light sleeper. you probably are the only cure to his insomnia. likes to sleep with part of him just lightly touching you usually. like a cat or dog, he needs to feel you there, if only slightly. if you want to cuddle, he has you laying on top of him in a way that is most comfortable. honestly, the thicker you are, the better. deep pressure therapy and the most attractive weighted plush imaginable. he, like john, sleeps closet to any door. prefers to sleep facing it sometimes.

johnny is a fucking nightmare in bed. a freak of nature, he sleeps on his stomach. he doesn't stay there long though and tosses around a LOT. his bed partners sometimes complains that he kicks them from time to time. when he sleeps with you, it's always spooning. he loves to switch who is big spoon and little spoon but he just needs to be tangled up in you always. needs to feel you pressed up against him. will sometimes fall asleep with a hand in your underwear. not in a sexual way really, just slips his hand down there and enjoys the warmth and intimacy of it. god he's the hardest to wake up. he will sleep through fucking anything. simon has kicked him many times to get his ass up. also, we all know this but he sleeps naked and usually without blankets bc he runs hot. blankets make you sweat with him.

so i think about what it's like waking up with him. it's a day off for him, one that happily aligns with yours. you wake up first, slowly blinking your eyes open as light peaks through your blinds. you are very sluggish, rousing very little initially. then you feel the warm arms that around wrapped around your waist. you two are naked, so you feel a radiating warmth that is so perfect. tucked into the crook of your neck, there is soft breaths caressing the sensitive skin there. steady, deep, slow. maybe some slight snoring, but you would be polite and never mention it. hair brushes up against you, shaggy and uncontrolled. maybe at one point it might have bothered you, but not now.

your eyes shift just slightly, allowing you to peer at the peaceful form of michael, the love of your life. rarely does he ever look so relaxed and unbothered. yet now, in the safety of your bedroom, clinging to you, he is at his most calm. you offer him that, create a sanctuary with just your mere presence. it allows him to rest. he does not have to be so on guard, so attentive and reactive. you, his other half, allow him to be just michael.

a slow smile tugs are your lips as you study him with half lidded eyes. sleep still clings to you but you take a moment to enjoy michael as he is. then you move just a little to place a kiss on his forehead.

this seems to draw the man from his slumber, letting out a soft hum as his body adjusts. as slowly as you did, he rouses from his sleep. eventually, his eyes open, his face scrunching up in displeasure as light his him. however, that immediately melts into a look of love and admiration as he drifts his attention to you.

"morning," michael rumbles, his voice deep and scratchy in all the most attractive ways.

you smile and shift your hand to begin gently caressing his head, carding through his hair. "good morning," you reply softly.

But, hear me out.

Imagine the first time he lets you touch him. Nothing to prevent skin to skin contact or anything. It’s almost a profound moment, a show of just how important you have become to him. God, maybe it even happens during an insignificant moment but you notice and it warms you heart that this man, this broken and scarred man, was willing to let you in. 

That is just beautiful to me.

anyways NOT THE POINT OF MY RAMBLE

but i think johnny comes from a big catholic family and is very much a big family kinda guy. most fanon agrees with me. well i love the idea of his family adopting you and all that when you start dating him and it gets serious but also?? what if you also come from a big family?? johnny also getting adopted by your family without hesitation. can you just imagine the chaos of that sort of blending?? because i love that.

this is absolutely self projecting because my family is fucking big and weird and complicated but in the way that large families are. big family events on one side becomes bigger because both yours and johnny's family are invited, extended and all. family reunions, birthday parties, weddings. you don't even know if aunt sally is your aunt or just a family friend or what but she's coming to johnny's cousin's wedding. you are best friends with his sisters, your uncle bonds over all the weird shit that happens in the military, and both sets of parents are begging for the two of you to fucking get married already please and thank you.

i just like big families. johnny also loves big families.
