CACAFUEGO
Is a vulgar word and means shitfire but it doesn't mean Montezuma revenge. Today we know it as a bully, braggart or spitfire. And yes it has a naval background. The Spanish Treasure Galleon Nuestra Señora de la Concepción was pursued by Francis Drake for several days before he took her on 1 March 1579 off Ecuador. She was the greatest prize in history, being valued at around 1.5 million ducats, or around £ 0.5 billion today. She got the vulgar name of the Cacafuego by the chasing privateers, because she had so many guns aboard that she shits fire in a battle.

After the capture, Queen Elizabeth I took most of the booty. A Spanish sailor on the captured vessel said that his ship shall no longer be called the Cacafuego, but the Cacaplata ( shit- silver) and that the Golden Hind should be renamed the Cacafuego.
