To be honest, any of them. I don't need anyone I know irl finding my fics. I've mentioned to my parents that I write fic and they think I'm wasting my time writing something I can't make money from. Nope, they don't deserve to read my fics and I hope to God they never find them.

If I'm happy with it.

Action, definitely. Description is my weak point and action requires a lot of description.

Quest (not linking it), which is a follow-up to The Incubus in the Hallway (they were part of a series but I deleted the series, just not the fics). I'm still fond of Incubus itself but Quest was a victim of bad plotting.

🥺Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

Proposals, definitely. It's right up there with the first ILY exchange but there's something about proposals that I try to make so personalized to each ship.

🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

Chapter 3 of Hearts Out. I laughed the whole time I was writing Benoit and Marta's conversation.

Bragging Rights: I had a lot of fun with these! It's a Regency Era AU and neither actor has been in a Regency era period drama, so I picked the texture to use for the cover and then found a picture of a woman in Regency era costuming and added it to the texture, coloring it to match the background of the texture.

The texture I found for the chapter headers was not the one I originally intended to use, but it turned out perfectly suited for what I wanted to do. The font I used had a Italic type, and the chapters switched POVs between Marta Cabrera and Benoit Blanc, so I put the name of the character whose POV it was in italics under the chapter number. I love how both images turned out.

The other 14 chapter headers are under the cut for posterity's sake!

What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)

That depends on what ship they're into. But if the ship doesn't matter, hmm, I think I'll go with Hearts Out -- it's funny, it's sweet, and it's sexy.

Prompt Fill, Established Relationship, Married Couple, Christmas, Older Man/Younger Woman.

Honestly? Yes, absolutely. This is my wheelhouse -- fluffy stuff and my personal kink.

3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?

Besides what I've already answered? Heavy on dialogue, light on description, happy endings for everybody.

4. What detail in the Fireworks duology are you really proud of?

I was able to write two parallel fics and make it work!
