With an audible “Hmpf!” Vivian slammed her emerald quill into an inkpot, disregarding the remaining calculus formulas that needed to be completed as homework before class next Thursday. Her icy blue eyes fixed onto the student walking past the Ravenclaw table in the Great Hall, who Vivian heard practically an entire minute before they strutted in front of her.
“Would you please stop scraping your feet against the floor when you walk? It’s rather undignified.”
