Vivian arrived a few minutes early to the designated location—an abandoned estate in the thick of the countryside, which promised privacy between Marceaux and his comrade soon to join. She reached for the vial strung around her neck, sipping at the Polyjuice Potion to ensure this form lasted for some time longer. Vivian hardly winced anymore when sipping the potent liquid. When finished, she closed the lid and tucked the vial beneath her jumper. 

With an audible “Hmpf!” Vivian slammed her emerald quill into an inkpot, disregarding the remaining calculus formulas that needed to be completed as homework before class next Thursday. Her icy blue eyes fixed onto the student walking past the Ravenclaw table in the Great Hall, who Vivian heard practically an entire minute before they strutted in front of her. 

“Would you please stop scraping your feet against the floor when you walk? It’s rather undignified.”

The realization struck Vivian Travers like lightning. Numbers never lied; even among the art of Arithmancy, there was a level of clarity that could be deciphered. Satisfaction filled the witch whole, and she found herself practically giddy with excitement. This was her opportunity to smooth out the folds in her relationship with Asher Avery, to return once again to their state of chilled alliances---all at the expense of silly, mousy Caroline Brown. Her lips painted ruby red curled upwards with a fiendish delight. Rosalind Nott’s words managed to ring true; Caroline kept a secret that soon, very soon, Vivian would thrust to the surface. 

Vivian strutted through the Hogwarts grounds in search of one particular wizard and finally, minutes later, he came into view. Her heartbeat quickened and body felt practically jittery, but she kept her predictable icy exterior. 

“A word, Asher.”

“The first floor hosts a billiards room, double parlors and a guest room,” Christian explains. “As well as a two thousand bottle wine cellar with a wonderfully diverse and expansive collection of reds, whites, roses, you name it. On the second floor, if you go up the winding stair case just behind you, is another set of double parlors, a bathroom, a grand dining room, and a very spacious kitchen. The third floor you will find three more luxurious suites which includes a primary suite with a speakeasy that is accessible through a hidden bathroom door of which I’m more than happy to show the location of if you desire. Both the second and the third floor have wrap around decks with spectacular views of the French Quarter. There’s also servant wings with two independent apartments and two more bedroom suites if you’d prefer your own space entirely. Oh and there is a roof top deck that gives you a full 360 view of the French Quarter, probably one of my favorite parts of the home if I’m being honest. Not very many rules except be respectful of my home and of each other, try not to break anything, and just treat the home as if it’s your own. I’m leaving my number on the fridge, so if you need anything just shoot me a text or give me a call. I’ll try and keep the kitchen and toiletries stocked up for you guys until you start working but after that it’s on you guys, sound fair?”

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Tatum hummed softly, gun loaded with wooden bullets pointed straight for the male. “One wrong move and you’re done for.”
