[It's 3:15AM in London, and Cody sits alone at a pub. Still wired, and still feeling residual happiness from a day spent with Fran and the Smith sisters. Mother Lawson now sleeps in their hotel, and Cody, feeling restless, sought out a little entertainment of her own.

[After watching Dara and Avi from the CCT feed built into her office computer, Valentina retreats to her kitchen, set on pouring herself a mug of tea (perhaps spiked with whiskey) to calm her nerves.  To have another ex-girlfriend be the very first person on her property in the wake of this debacle gives Valentina pause.  Truth be told, she’d briefly considered telling her security officer to bar Avi entry, but ultimately decided against it, knowing how much the singer meant to Dara.  Instead, she opted to watch through the security footage; reading their body language closely in the absence of sound.

Her reverie, however, is broken by the sound of footsteps approaching, and she turns to see that it’s Avi Roth standing in the doorway.]
