There were lots of things going through Kwangmin’s head as he weaved his way through the rush hour crowd, muttering apology after apology as he bumped into countless strangers. Not really the type to linger around town and stay outside, the young mutant was eager to get home and slip into his pyjamas, eat leftovers for dinner and mess around on his computer before going to bed. It was kind of standard operational procedure, except on the rare days where his brother actually comes home.

It starts to get more crowded, and Kwangmin is literally shoving his way through the horde of office men and women and students. It is a Friday night after all, so everybody’s out for dinner or just going anywhere that is not home. Unlike me, Kwangmin muses.

When a girl comes up to him, stack of flyers in her hand, Kwangmin shakes his head before she can take a piece and offer it to him. Flyers were irritating – he wasn’t going to read it, and he usually couldn’t find anywhere to throw them away. But when she insisted, Kwangmin has to bring his hand up to kindly refuse, once again. That was when he managed to hit something, he wasn’t sure what until he heard a splatter on the ground. He stopped in his tracks, earning many glares, but the sea of people kind of parted around him and the stranger whom he had managed to hit the coffee cup out of.

The first thing Kwangmin notices is the suit that the man was wearing. The second thing he observes is that it looks really expensive. The third thing, was the wet patch covering the chest area of the suit, and the brown that marred the white shirt underneath. Kwangmin’s face is contorted into an expression of utter horror, and he’s stumbling on his words.
