"I am glad we could have dinner and hang out," he spoke with a smile looking at his brother as he wipe dry clean dishes. Ben had been a bit quiet tonight and the last few days.

“I think you’re very hot. Wolverine? Maybe not but like sexy biker zombie hunter? Hell yes.”

Patrick: Now, should we talk about you too? You're both as bad as each other with your problems and I'm happy to listen if you need to talk.

Who would’ve thought that doing what he did would yet again bring him back to his old campus grounds after who knows how many years it had been since he’d graduated, but here he was, booked to help train some students, so holding onto the strap of his bag that had some of his clothes and work out equipment he came across campus ground, looking around he could already feel some of the younger girls looking at him, which probably wasn’t weird, cause here he was towering at a good 6′3″, being pretty beefy in size and yeah.. People tend to look, but what he hadn’t exactly expected was to see a  girl walking further away, her face being quite familiar to what could’ve been his sisters best friend, the girl he remembered to have had a bit of a thing with when they were both a little younger, he still too old for her but, it had happened.. He’d been her first kiss, probably a lot of her firsts, heartbreak being one of them as he went to college and did his own thing.. But as to it really being her he couldn’t be sure, it had been years since he’d seen her, while he still lived at home, and well.. didn’t have his shit together.. but she looked different, good kind of different at least.. 

The rapid flash of clicking cameras followed Nikita inside as she ducked into the small diner as fast as her leg would allow. After years of living in front of cameras one might've thought she’d be used to it by now. There was something unsettling about the fact that she knew they were only following her because of what had happened that night at the ball, though. As a deep breath filled her straining lungs she cast a quick glance around the mostly empty room and almost immediately her eyes caught on a face that had become all too familiar over the years. “Well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?” The curve of her lips tipped into a smirk as she posted up beside his booth. “You have room for one more?”

A lot had happened in the last few months, being on a TV show and getting engaged to the engagement being called off. Normally during times like this, Ben would have thrown himself into work but this time around he was still tired from all the filming and the traveling and so decided to focus all his energy and attention on helping Travis finish the house which was what they had been doing all day. The chef had ordered something from the restaurant for the two of them. "I got dinner," he spoke as he placed the food door before taking a seat. "It's sure been a very long day," he added letting out a sigh before reaching out for the beer.
