âThe womenâ jokes made towards Alyssa were something a lot of people played into, not just ccTommy but also her good friends sheâd had for years. But Iâd say these comments/actions exist in two different realities of discussion. In-lore Iâd say itâs rather misogynistic against c!Alyssa because itâs not just messing about in a video game for content like irl (in lore she is a stranger you are getting up in the face of and fighting with and trying to degrade). Maybe not as misogynistic from others like c!Dream who was her friend, and who appears to have mocked the Lmanbergians for their apparent phobia of women (think the âwarning: womanâ signs he made) (hopefully my memory is correct here). But out of lore I think the comments towards Alyssa by ccâs are basically actually making fun of misogyny and how stupid it is, not necessarily representative of actual misogynistic with the cc (though the joke was played out in a annoying fashion and maybe not executed well, and could be critiqued as that). To talk about this more in-lore though, as it is an interesting topic: c!Tommy saying these things and harassing c!Alyssa in what he found a humorous fashion may have also been coming not entirely from a place of firm misogyny but also just flippant bullying. A big thing about c!Tommy in this time period is that he behaves in nasty ways towards others because he just doesnât think, doesnât actually absorb how hurtful or damaging those things really are (heâs a naturally empathetic person if he stops to seriously understand things for a moment). His rudeness/harassment/misogyny towards c!Alyssa may in large part come from that tooâas jokes even in-loreânot a deep belief in misogyny (though I personally think he does have some boyish misogynistic attitudes).

But you are correct, Dream did put up those signs to make fun of Tommy and Lâmanberg, with Alyssa even joining in on the joke, which is another aspect that I think changes how the joke comes across because for Dreamâs women bits in this stream that could come across wrong, Alyssa is participating in a lot of them rather than fighting back making it much more obviously a joke rather than making fun of her/women in general.
And that to me is a relevant point, because it becomes less of a joke when the person is getting hurt rather than laughing along. As you said, thatâs more so bullying. And yeah, I didnât even think about how much they are strangers vs her friends saying it (honestly this is kinda applicable to c and cc to be fair because Tommy wasnât friends with Alyssa before) which is probably also why the attitude of similar jokes is different even beyond whether Alyssa is joining in (that and I think Tommy just drags things on too long and too far but thatâs just my opinion). And boy does that change things because itâs one thing to make a potential offensive joke with a friend and a whole other to do so with a stranger.
