I’m moving this to Wordpress. I began this blog a year or so ago as a dump for my writing with the initial plan to just get the brain ball rolling. With the conflicting fact that a blog is public, I’ve had to welcome criticism, judgment - friends and family peeping but also the kindly group of online faces that have given encouragement and praise.

I’m out in New York and feeling pretty disillusioned with how little I’ve wanted to write - the details, the moments and people I’d waited to put down. Though tonight, on a walk in the Bronx, I opened up my notes and began, very quickly, reconstructing the days that had missed their articulation.

I then realised that it’s not writers block, a dearth of inspiration, or too much distraction but Tumblr. Tumblrs crappy blanket ban has not only attacked what I think about the censorship of women’s bodies but has attacked my writing. Some of my favourite posts have been taken down.

Tumblr, I’m not a ‘female presenting nipples’. I have nipples - I was born with them on my chest. They are part of the body that made this body of work, these female experiences, these things I no longer want to give to a platform that would rather I replaced them with swastikas or severed babies heads.

Because of this Tumblr’s policy change, I lost interest (just like that). I let my queue run out (with 50 posts left), and ta-dah, this post, and that’s it. I kept the queue at around 150-200 posts at any given moment, so there was always something for you all to look at.

I enjoyed knowing people got their rocks off at the same content I did. People started started noticing this. It turned into a huge outlet for my fetish, especially when I started realizing I had over 500 followers. I just hit 1,500 this week, and now, I’ll never know what could have been. Thanks, Tumblr. Not fucking really.

I still get off at looking at NSFW photos of jocks, men in spandex, athletes, and superheroes. I just fail to see the point in running a Tumblr of SFW content instead of NSFW. That was never the point. Just letting you all know, I DEFINITELY appreciated the messages and attention I received. Thank you for the (less than a year) of support. The internet is not Disney Land. If big websites want to go that route and spay and neuter themselves for the sake of deneutralization, then...
