Deleted all my social
Except this. Last time I was really depressed that’s what I did and I felt really good about it. Not spending hours checking social media so often I see the same things constantly switched from FB to twitter to snapchat to twitter to snapchat to FB to tinder and on and on. Time to get back to me. I need to face these thoughts head on. No social distractions.
I quit Facebook on Jan. 1st and today is the first time I’ve thought about it because I realized I don’t have to see shit about football today. Then I got to thinking I don’t have to see anything I don’t want to, like my conservative, Trump supporting family members’ posts, or selfies, or people only showing people what they want them to see, or ignorance of any kind. Peace out, Facebook. You aren’t missed.
In case anyone is interested, I made a Bluesky account today. It'll be more of a mixed bag of everything I'm interested in, as I'll probably be deleting my Facebook so this will take it's place.

I’m talking to my ex who’s a software engineer and apparently Facebook’s servers are in their headquarters under high security but because the server is down they may not be able to access the server. I hope there’s a fail safe. If that is the case this is fucking hilarious.
