Pokemon Black and White would've felt entirely different with Basculegion in it. Like, I could've totally handled having a huge Garbodor or a Yamask with a weird evo method that made me wander into the Desert Resort for no reason, but Basculegion and its godawful evo setup for no reason beyond "killing" the Basculin when the option to evolve it by leveling it up while knocked was RIGHT THERE... I could totally imagine struggling to get a Basculegion right before Clay, yelling at the Frillish in the bay for Hex+Confusion-killing my fish before I give up, then I find out that Shauntal, Ghetsis, and Alder all have one later in the game 😭
