if mcc is canon on the dream smp, it had to have taken place in their past before any of the members joined the smp since everyone in the tournament is always happy and trauma-free. also ranboo's v-tuber sona is the younger version of c!ranboo, back when he still had shorter hair.
this would mean that tubbo and ranboo have met and played on the same team before they got to know each other on the smp. ranboo would've obviously forgotten about tubbo due to his memory problems, but tubbo would still remember everything and that could be the reason why he instantly became friends and came to trust ranboo so quickly. tubbo had probably assumed that ranboo still remembered him, but then found out about the memory issues and re-told him everything about their friendship during mcc.
in conclusion; this headcanon would make tubbo and ranboo canonical soulmates :)
headcanon that c!ranboo always used to have short hair for convenience reasons, but let it grow out once him and tubbo got married because he prefers the hairstyle and finally gained the encouragement to express himself after finding happiness.
ranboo has possibly just leaked the upcoming benchtrio bowling vlog, this is great news.
beeduo should build the second bee dome on the 7 months anniversary of building the first one (and listen to the ludwig christmas album for the sake of nostalgia).
they will probably have met up by this time too which would make it even more significant :)

reminder that mcc 5 (the one in which tommy teamed up with vikk) happened in may of last year and during that time nobody thought that tommy would speak to vikk again because he seemed to be so ahead of him.
