I'm so addicted to this comic I'm not even gonna lie. Vera and Cillian are currently my favorites 🌹💕

I feel like Vera a is going to stop right up to Ailduin’s tent when she reaches the caravan because, let’s be real, he’s funding the entire expedition. He’s going to see her and get all smug like “Ha! I knew you couldn’t resist my offer!” And Vera’s going to shoot him the fuck down and just start shouting. “Where’s my daughter? I know she left with your caravan! Now, where is she?” And Ailduin will get just a little bit disappointed that Vera wasn’t there for him, but he’ll tell her where to find Alfie. And I think Vera will get a little bit disappointed, too. He’s the type that would make her beg for the position if she changed her mind about his offer, and we all know that isn’t happening. Remember the beginning of the comic when Ailduin was like “lol don’t fall in love with me?” I think they both fell just a little bit in love with each other. They’re both genuinely just want the other person to have a good time. It’s such a pleasant relationship of self-discovery and mutual growth. I’m low-key more invested in Vera’s relationships than I am invested in Alfie’s relationships. Oops.
