Today at #nature camp I read my book aloud. Together we went on the walks in our minds. I think I need to just go around to schools and read this book, because they got so calm and so happy. It was a truly beautiful experience. There is so much goodness happening in the future due to these kids. I also received the best compliments of my life when I finished reading. One camper said, "Now can we just read it to ourselves?" and another said, "I'm going to take out every page and put them on my wall to read every day." Oh my gosh. ☺️Mom's in chemo in Atlanta today and I'm usually there so I'm feeling a little bit anxious. Kindness is the most incredible salve.
