Hello world! My name is Dipper!
I picked up a new little scaley baby a few days ago and he is just gorgeous I honestly couldn’t be happier with him. He was covered in shed when I first got him but he had a nice soak and now he’s all clean and absolutely beautiful. He’s very shy right now but he seems to like investigating and moving around his new cage (probably just happy to have one all to himself rather than with two others like they had him at the store :( )
They told me that he was a boy and that he was a butter though he seems to be a lot lighter than the other butters were when I googled the morph a bit.
He keeps scaring me though because he seems to really like to burrow in the substrate and he knocked the sensor way away and when I came out the temp for the heat pad was reading almost 100! Is burrowing normal for them? I’ve had my other snake a little two years now and she’s never burrowed at all.
Either way I can not be happier with him. He’s so tiny though I’m almost afraid I’m gonna hurt him every time I pick him up, when I got my other baby she was already about six months old so I never really worried about that. He just seems like a tiny little worm almost haha.
