Ta-da! ❤️ Books off the floor and into shelves! Thank you for all the great organization recommendations. After contemplating doing it by color (love the idea but pictured lots of senior moments looking for a specific book) - I went with the "okay, I’ll need to find my teaching stuff right away shelf which became 4 shelves (reading/writing/ lit theory and poetry) then moved to genres then author within the genre then onto Luca needs to access his books at his height shelf (which became two) to then finally, Babe, you can push the books on the top most row and put your awesome books because I didn’t organize those and will probably donate them shelves" strategy. In the end, it was a very satisfying endeavor. Almost meditative. Thanks for thinking it though with me, @amichetti and thanks years of organizing books in baskets with students!
