Am I the only one that just knows that the reason why fake Kessler was hard was because Butcher was thinking some FILTH?

Probably thinking about his first time with the real Kessler. They weren't together yet, just friends who kinda needed to blow some steam. Billy would act like he's all tough and strong and dominant but all that would melt away the second Kessler's hand is on his hair. Then all thoughts would vanish from Billy's mind.

Kessler would have to guide him through it, however I do think younger Butcher was even more of a brat than he is now. He relaxed a bit for Becca but with Kessler, he was so fucking mean. They'd be fighting over who gets to call the shots, and then grind on each other for hours, still trying to take control... And after they're done, they'd lay in bed together, maybe holding hands just a little bit and breathing heavily against each other's lips. Completely unaware of the fact that in a few weeks they'd end up completely enamored with each other.

Anyway thinking about their breakup. They definitely broke up because Butcher was obsessive in a way that no one could really keep up with, and he needed Kessler to be as obsessed as he was. Kessler was fucking tired of it at some point. Called Butcher a parasite and they got into a screaming match for what's probably the third time that week. They were used to fighting, they're both very messed up people. But that time Butcher just left, and didn't come back. And then when they tried to get back to at least working together, that's when Kessler died. This is why the hallucination of Kessler is a literal parasite taking over Butcher's brain, and as deeply obsessed with Butcher as Butcher himself was with Kessler during their relationship.
