Won’t really know until I can take my temp and see if I have a fever (but I’ve been having chills and cold sweats and a sore throat so...)
Have I been going out recklessly and ignoring the ‘stay home’ advice from my state? No.
But I work retail and I’ve still had to go to work doing curbside orders.
We’ve been super careful at work to disinfect, wear masks, and always have hand sanitizer handy, but I still have no choice in having to interact with multiple strangers in a day, some of whom really don’t care about the fact that we’re in a pandemic.
Am I surprised that I’m sick? No. Did I expect this might happen eventually. You bet I did.
Am I slightly bitter at all the customers coming to buy books and puzzles and games because they’re ‘bored’ during quarantine and don’t want to just order things and have them shipped to their house???
