I wanna "come to terms" on why I like Ismelda so much and why I despise Merula more and more every time she's on screen. Otherwise my takes on 'problematic faves' will ring very hypocritical (considering also that there are different types of problematic and[or] complex characters).
#i seriously wanna write it down one day#i don't hate Merula#I just few more and more underwhelmed by her#and uhm she tried to kill us a couple times and join a cult#but that's just a detail#but then Ismelda...#i just love her even tho she's made some awful choices#and she's mean#but idk at least someone inside JC took a liking for Ismelda and cares to add her and her arc in the latest chapters/tlsqs#why with Merula they're barely trying#anyway#anti merula#ismelda#rambling#just saw the few up there 🙈 it's 'feel'
