the more i review the scenes between elain and azriel vs the scenes between elain and luci.en... the more i'm convinced of an elriel endgame.
and unfortunately, my COVID era eluc.en self is dead in a ditch after that CHD interview with SJM, especially when you look back at the eluc.en tea scene in ACOWAR (someone smarter than me says it's in ch 24) and compare it to what SJM said in the interview. ahhhhhh it's just all right there, every crumb she's left in the books was just laid bare in the interview.
