Canberra Cops caught on the hop! The Australian Capital Territory water police spent yesterday morning trying to tie up this unwilling Canberran and a passerby, Dean Isreb, filmed the rescue attempt. "They went back and got him a second time from the water and some council workers hog-tied him and carried him to their truck. But before they got there he shook loose (again!) and bounced away toward the High Court ... Crafty little bugger." Within five minutes of sitting outside I had this peewee flit over and happily fall asleep in the sun less than an arms length away, this lizard run over my arm to hang out next to me for the next half an hour, and my music is being drowned out by the calls of at least six different bird species.
