This short footage of sand being across the surface of Burry Port beach was taken using a canon 1300d with the kit lens EF-S 18-55mm. I am just starting out with footage, so will be keeping them short.

The #RNLI were heading back into #burryport #Harbour last night quite late while I was walking off my #TobyCarvery. What an amazing difficult job they do! (at Burry Port Lighthouse)
"Thankfully, there's also time for coffee" We left #swanseabay early, but not too early to enjoy a good breakfast. Cycling the new Legendary Cycle Trail with the sun shining was a pleasure, especially on a full tummy. Passing through numerous small towns and villages, pretty harbours and the following the lovely coastline of #carmarthenshire provided plenty of opportunities to make excuses to pause. Admiring the scenery or taking photographs. A particular favourite was #burryport with a lovely old breakwater and squat looking lighthouse. A dozen or more camper vans had brought sun worshippers, determined to make the most of the beach, which seemed to stretch for miles and the sunny weather despite the blustery conditions. The marina and #burryportharbour are especially photogenic. There's also a memorial to Amelia Earhart who landed there after her legendary transatlantic flight. Pedalling on, we were grateful to arrive in #kidwelly where we found this very welcome coffee and cake shop. My breakfast of poached eggs on toast was finally beginning to run down, and I was running on fumes. A toasted teacake and a couple of welsh cakes later and we were ready to tackle some more riding and to discover a few more legends. TIP: I've stressed many times how important visual storytelling is to #travelphotography Take a variety of images which tell the story of your journey, and showcase the character of the town, region or destination.
